Make elder abuse a community issue in June

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, 15 June, gives us all an opportunity to educate our communities about the issue of elder abuse. But it is also a time to celebrate and value the contributions and achievements of the older members of our communities and to promote respect for older people and their rights, a respect which is key in helping to prevent elder abuse.

Older People Speak Out are holding a “Speak Out Q&A” at the Southern Cross Sports Club, 51 Klump Rd, Mt. Gravatt on 12th June from 10am.   Please join us and let your voice be heard.  Download flyer here.
